okay i almost never address the very small amount of internet fame i have. and sometimes yes it sucks. people often repost my work, or clip it out of context, or flat-out steal it. but like it can be very funny. once a follower dm'd me to say a guy on hinge was pretending to be "inkskinned", and actually had even started his own insta. when she said "i've followed her for years i don't think you're her", he said - actually r.i.d is like seven people, we just made those initials up. (rude). when i found his insta and messaged him, he begged me to just lie and say he was r.i.d because "it's hard for men to date."

once someone said she should be allowed to plagiarize my work because she was a body-positive influencer and that if i "made a big deal" about this and "got her cancelled", i would be doing damage to my own community and i was never "actually" an ally.

i bear these things with the aura of a martyr, the way my catholic father raised me to. i message privately. i handle things quietly and quickly. i do not complain because i am very, very, very, very blessed and i know that. mercy and gentleness literally pour out of me every morning when i wake up, and then i have to mop the floors for how very Good i am.

however today is the first time i have ever had a very specific problem that neither requires me to correct this person nor throw them to the dogs but is somehow worse than years of hatemail, reddit thread death threats, and pinterest reposts:

i'm not going to say anything about it, bc it is functionally not a huge deal, i have done my time on "getting called slurs online" bit years ago and i'm very into quietly blocking people now, but ohhh jeez. folks. you have GOT to read a wikipedia article before taking these things as fact, especially when it is coming from someone who openly declares themselves to be not a part of the culture that they're describing with such confidence.

please do not accept any random shit like that into your worldview without checking first. in this case, i'm only this steamed bc it goes beyond mild inaccuracy, over the line into malicious ignorance and whitewashing of fascist symbols. lmao. 💀

26 minutes left of my show (i will finish it tomorrow while i have breakfast) possibly not the best 'choice' of show for the current state of me personally given its extremely tragic and conflict-ridden nature for practically uhhhh 3/4 if not more of the entire thing but i DID have a euphoric 2 days where i watched the first 4 episodes and was mentally twirling my hair kicking my feet as background thoughts for that entire 48 hours so that was pretty nice

I'll probably give it another go when I get home digitally, might even make a speedpaint 🤔 we shall seeeee, idk yet if I'll like redraw this or draw something completely different

But dude I am loving this idea. Thank you @rimzieiei this is all I never knew I needed. THINK OF THE THEORIES he's a watcher in lifesteal hence not playing anymore. His skills were so great and he dodged so many plans they offered to make him a watcher and he accepted. And now he watches

It's very bad you can tell I did it quick. I didn't bother with a nose or mouth but then I was like wait that could look cool and ended up giving him like an "endermen" mouth (or what a lot of ppl draw endermen with)

I might give Rek back nose privileges when I draw this later we shall see fksbdkshjs
